ThreeA Ashley Wood Adventure Kartel Dead Easy Corp's Potato Commander

The first impression that I got when I first saw the promo pict of Potato Commander, the leader of Dead Easy Corp, in the official blog is that it has a sinister vibe, like how the Ku Klux Klan exude. It intrigues me a little and did made some plans to want to own it when the order starts.
Potato Commander was available for pre-ordering at Bambalandstore on Sep 13, 2013. It wasn't a regular sale figure but was dropped at random time aka secret F5drop. I managed to catch him in sight and had it in my cart... but did not check out eventually. It was US$120 (US$102 after my 3AA discount) which comes to about S$130 a piece. Not too expensive by today's standards but I'm not sure a military theme figure suits my Adventure Kartel gang. Decided to leave it and move on. It died a natural death in my cart some days later.
1 year later, ie 5 months after the Commander has shipped, one of it's clone appeared in eBay.SG. It was used for display and came with a dented box. But what attracts me to that auction was the starting BIN price. Too good to pass dented box or not. Figure is in great condition. After this little twist (and a mild turn), the Commander arrives in my house in late Sep 2014.

Even though the Commander is THE Commander, it is still a Zomb. And a Zomb walks like how a Zomb walks and poise like how a Zomb poise like how I composed these pictures.

Note the sledge hammer in the picture are from my spares and does not come with the figure. The box contains a poster and it does not come with any additional hands nor are there any spare wrist or ankle pegs. The spare pegs seems to be a thing of the pass. We used to get those in the box as spares but seems like not anymore. Does it means 3A is now pretty confident in their sturdiness?
The Commander came with 2 pistols but IMO, both hand doesn't look to be of natural trigger hands. I would rant all day about this but this guy is a Zomb ya? I can't imagine a Zomb intelligent enough to pull the pistol and shoot. So I let it lay.
Another thing I noticed on the slight misalignment print of the Star symbol to the inverted chevron stripes on the helmet. A quick check with a few other on hand picts also shows the same "imperfection". Could this be intentional? No big deal for me but just stating an observation.
Garb and gear are in proper tattered, a strength of 3A and the weathering is as good as it is. And if you haven't already know, there is a sculpted Zomb face underneath the veil which is pretty nifty.

As you can observed from the close up through those eye holes, you can see sculpted eyes.
Give the Commander a final "macho pose" away from all it's Zomb qualities. Considering the price I got him at, I'd say he is a good buy and I can make exception for the soldier (zomb) boy to gel well with the rest of the AK crew. Even if you paid the full retail price for it, you don't feel shortchanged.
Overall, I'd probably appreciate this guy more if it wasn't a Zomb but a normal humanoid. It can be a formidable opponent to the TKs.
