ThreeA Ashley Wood Popbot Action Portable Tomorrow King Heavy SOH
Baby SOH was conceived on Bambalandstore on 28 Jul 2012 and a 3 pack was offered that also include Kato (Grey) and Nasu (Black). Thought I just wanted a 1/12 Soh since I have the 1/6 version hence the term "Baby SOH". It finally got into my grubby hands some 183 days later ( 1 Feb 2013).
Heavy TK SOH is very special to me as the 1/6 version was the very first 3A figure I owned. I like it enough to continue pursuing this brand of action figures (and robots).
Here, I have swapped out the original SOH's head with that of a red haired TK Yellow Hornet. After a few hairsculpts, I still prefer the OG classic hairstyle. And the red haired TK fits perfectly to SOH's red garb.
This is the first time I'd try taking pictures within my display cabinet. The little 1/12 stature is perfect for taking picts amongst the other 1/6 figures. Gives good perspective.
3A has once again came through and it produces a top notch little 1/12 figure with very fine sewing works that if you don't really scrutinize it, it looks just like a 1/6 figure. And I' amazed they pulled off sewing the back pack to such great details and attention.
However, the little molded pouches appears again (after I first encounter them with APAK Tracky JC). Not a fan to those at all but I understand that it is technically impossible to sew (or in mass production) a cloth pouch that small. I'd rather not have them but since they are there, will just leave them as they are.
Baby SOH is a great little figure. Makes me want to go out and get both Kato & Nasu. Perhaps will get if the price is right.
