ThreeA Adventure Kartel Little Shadow 2 Cherry BOMB!

Little Shadow always has a special place in my heart. OG LS is the first 3A figure I bought from 3A's official webstore Bambalandstore.com. That was back in March 2010. I wasn't 3AA then and paid full price of US$80 for it. Cheap considering such stylized figures cost a lot at that time.
Fast tracked to 17 Aug 2012, Little Shadow ver2 were officially available at the webstore selling as a singular figure for the first time. It was 3AA only and it was Little Shadow 2 (LS2) Cherry BOMB! Missed LS2 for both retail versions and sold my atrociously ugly SXCLB Ankou Ex set at 3AA discounted price, this is probably my last chance to own a version of this figure without paying more than retail. Price had risen by US$10 since OG LS, glad it is not a lot more but it shouldn't be anyway.

Cherry BOMB came with an spare right hand in a fist pose, a skull bomb (which I had squeezed into the messenger bag and a set of wrists and ankle pegs. It also came with a poster reflecting an Ashley Wood painting print (same as the box art) and a comic printed on the opposite side of the poster. Very basic stuffs but good enough.
Previous Cherry version came as a twin pack together with Sanakhte Zombot. I feel that 3A wasted an opportunity to pack in a similarly white "upgraded" Zombot (ie Finger Gang version) and sell this as a twin pack. I'd love to have a bodyguard with this version 2 as well.
I do like the checkered skirt but this new body isn't as poseable as OG LS. I wanted to do a sassy gal walk pose but the thigh can't be position in a back-and-front-in-line walking stance. They can just be pose side by side. The lose ankle doesn't help either. I'd also much prefer Cherry 2 to be on heels. May use TQ Yumiko's spare red heels for a swap in the future but I'll leave it as it is for now.
In order to give an arm articulation, a section below the shoulder is designed as such that it can be swiveled 360°. But when posing, you can see clearly the misalignment since that part is not a perfect round shape instead is oval. I couldn't described it very well with words but I think you know what I'm trying to say ;)

Overall, Cherry 2 is a good figure. It wasn't weathered and is squeaky clean. The bright colors stood her out from the rest of the AK crew. Her height is another factor that brought her all the attention. She is about a head above Rehel.
Posing Cherry 2 on both her legs isn't much of a problem but there are limitation on how you can pose with those 2 legs firmly on the ground. That single leg pose took me at least 30mins to achieve with some supporting sticks (removed from picture with photoshop).
I'd probably still hope to get a retailed weathered LS2 when I can find one at retail prices. But in no big hurry... the hunt is the fun.
Eagerly waiting for Masked Bleak Mission. Hopefully soon.
