Before gasping away, this Gebi is not 1/6 but is the 1/12 version that came in the Triste pack that also include a 1/12 Kuan Ti de Plume and a 1/12 Commando Uncle5 Dropcloth. But this entry is all about Gebi. Credit goes to 3A for their excellent work on this little figure. If you do not place anything for scale comparison, like a battery or a coin or something, it is hard to differentiate it from it's 1/6 bigger brother just by looking at the pictures.
This little guy has the same amount of articulation points as the 1/6 counterpart. It is as good as using a shrinking ray gun and just shrink the 1/6 to 1/12. Tailoring of cloth items are nothing short of excellent. T-Shirt and pants fits nicely and naturally. Only thing I want to make a note of is the velcro on the pouches. Some won't stay stuck on probably due to the heavy sewing on overlapping cloth material for the pouches makes the flap thick and harder to bend. It is inherent issue for velcro even with some 1/6 accessories. Not a big deal actually.
Gebi also poses beautifully and standing on 1 leg proves to be much easier probably due to it's light weight.
Gebi is fun to play and pose with. And is also an excellent substitute if we do not have a 1/6 version in our collection. Glad I got the pack which I originally wanted to just sell it away when it comes. But now, I'll most likely be keeping Gebi and Kuan Ti in my collection for awhile.
