"From episode 6 of the first Lupin III anime series comes a fellow briefly in league with Fujiko, Okosama Lunch. Didja know "Okosama Lunch" was what McDonald's Happy Meal was first called in Japan? We don't know if that explains his expression, but he's secretly pleased about being memorialized as a limited edition doll by Medicom. Detail and posability galore, with 26 points of articulation, real fabric clothing, and his C-1911A1 gun. A figure stand is also included." except taken from HLJ's link of the toy.
Been meaning to do a series of photoshoot on one of my favorite toyline in Medicom Stylish Collection 1:6 scale Lupin the 3rd series. Never knew it would kick off with such an obscure character in Okosama Lunch. But with his ligh purple-ish suit and his bespected grouchy looks, he kinda epitomize all the baddies in the anime.
The biggest challenge for the photoshoot was to make him hold a pose without toppling over. The shoe design is as such that the only flat area are on the heels. Coupled with weak and not too articulated ankles, I uses a plastic stick to rest it's back for support before shooting away. And even that, the slightest wind will probably unbalance him and make him fell eventually. Nevertheless, managed to capture these few poses and I think is good enough for now.
I really like how these pictures turned out. And to use a blue background is the right choice for these anime type figure's photoshoot. Can't wait to do another character from this series, just need to find some time for it.
