The II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force consisting of ground, air and logistics forces capable of projecting offensive combat power ashore while sustaining itself in combat without external assistance for a period of 60 days. The II Marine Expeditionary Force is commanded by a lieutenant general, who serves under Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, providing Marine fighting formations and units to European Command, Central Command and Southern.
This kitbash is totally inspired by HT's version of USMC MEF II. I bought a set earlier actually but then decide this is actually kitbashable. So I sold the set and set on to kitbash one myself using parts I already have in my spare part box. The vest is from VHT which I also bought it cheap to complete the bash. You may wonder where the hell is the weapon? I think I am one of those very very few collector who actually thought a weapon will spoil the overall look of the figure - are you thinking the same? LOL!!
I had a weapon for him now but during the time when I took these photos, I still haven't decide which piece to give him. The pictures turned out pretty well so I thought to just upload them here as is.
