SIdeshow Toys : 501st Legion Clone Trooper

After waiting for months after my pre-ordering, the 501st Legion Vader's Fist Clone Trooper finally arrives. He came with the usual accessories of a long blaster rifle and a short blaster, a pair of fist hands and finally, a doll stand. Exactly the same kind of accessories as the Utapau and Shocktrooper though I am not sure those 2 came with a pair of spare hands or just 1 pcs. Too lazy to check.

Something immediately caught my eyes when I first took this out from the box. The black spandex suit's material had changed. For the previous troopers, they came with a sort of rubbery suit while this one came with stretchable cloth material. Just like the material used to make socks. It is a pleasant surprise for me as I prefer cloth over the rubbery material used previously. At least cloth won't vulcanize or crack in time to come.
Have used a Corruscant background with a burning Jedi Temple... how sweet to have these guys charging into the place causing havoc ;)
Sometimes I just felt like a fool buying up these repainted figures (from the same mold) and falling into Lucas's trap of his rapid merchandising trick. Credit to him for managing to create a small part of stories relating to each color. Have skipped the gray ones as I don't really recall seeing them that much in the movie.
There is a constant struggle within me to reason out for not getting the gray guy in the name of completing all CT that Sideshow puts out. But I know we can never have it all...
I think that's about all the Clone Troopers that are more note worthy in the movie, next thing will be their commanders. Had Cody on pre-order and now struggling whether to add Rex into team. Makes sense to do so don't ya think?

Yup. Get those troopers that at least had some amount of screen time instead of those obscure background trooper characters :)
