ThreeA Ashley Wood Adventure Kartel Red Night Atonement JC

Fighting JC finally gets a resculpt after 4 years after the OG first released in October 2010. Personally I like this sculpt much better than the OG. However, the new sculpted JC are not that easy to obtain. The very first colorway <Shit Got Real JC> was a BBICN Guangzhou ACG exhibition exclusive. To also let their "Legion" a chance to own this version of JC, a small quantity was released in Bambalandstore which is slightly different than the convention piece and was called <Shit Got Real Dark JC>. A chase version that was randomly inserted into the Dark JC box was later uncover as <Pale as F*ck JC> . 5 months later in Mar 2014, 3A releases the Red Night JC and claim that it is a pre-made quantity. I jumped on the opportunity to add this JC version into my collection. I have all the OG versions and really wanted to have continuity in this character - even though I wasn't too please with the price at $130 prior 3AA. The OG JC were just $80 a pop.
Nevertheless, 3A wasn't done yet. A month later in April, they released the most current version called <Custard Hair Killer JC>. Wanted to buy this too but alas! It was released unannounced and was a random drop. Perhaps I wasn't fated with this new JC and I missed every opportunity when it pops up. So it wasn't meant to be for me.
A Red Night JC will do for now until Ashley Wood decides on a Blue Moon Howling JC version hey!

Did I already said that this JC sculpt is awesome? OG Sculpt somehow give the feel of a sad JC but this new sculpt has the determination, the slight exhaustion (from smashing all the Zombs hoards!) and the jurisdiction in what he does what he does. So many levels of emotions and character all sculpted onto the "messiah's" face. JC kept the same tattoo he had on the OG
The arm wrap were no longer sculpted but are real cloth bandage wrapped now.

There wasn't a robe, wasn't a poster but has a functional Zomb head, which the rest of the new JC doesn't. So Reddy is special in this way. I got a red haired Zomb head and it has a neck socket ready to be plugged it into any generic body to kit bashed your own Zomb. Pretty cool and top points for this accessory.
With so many fighting and smashing, and kicking, going on. JC thought it makes better sense to have a pair of military boots instead of sneakers. The boots actually works pretty well with JC. The long pyjama type pants are now a capri with black lines down the sides.
Not sure how JC uses the waist pouches but they played their part in the overall look and feel of JC. Almost an essential accessory though may not be that much functional to him in his quest.

As a Summary, I really like the new JC and hope to add another normal colored version into my collection. Only hope 3A doesn't make it so difficult for me to buy one. But I'll live if there isn't one anymore.
Secondly, not too please with the price as I think this figure should fit into a $95 or $110 tops price tags given the very limited new gear and amount of gear it comes with. But the Zomb head kind of redeem it just a little.
Overall, I'd regret if I don't buy this. Glad I made the decision to go for it even though my wallet does protest a little. Now to sought for a Custard hair version.
