ThreeA WWR NOM 4

Finally a new de Plume design and which can be a better first than an updated NOM de Plume. NOM 4 was released on June 26 at Bambalandstore to commemorate 3A's 4th anniversary. When the first NOM 4 image was first published in 3A's official blog, I immediately knew he will be in my collection. 5 months later, it was delivered.

When I took him out from his box, he exudes all kinds of awesomeness. Arguably my favorite 3A figure this year thus far. NOM 4 basically garbed just like NOM de Plume with the signature red sleeve. But the collar is white instead of red, the only regret really.
NOM 4 is the first 1/6 figure to spot faux leather boots instead of the usual molded ones. The material used for the boots are soft enough to allow easy posing. The set also came with an extra "relaxed" right hand for changing. I was thinking why not let us have a spare left pistol gripping hand instead since it came with 2 pistols. Sometimes 3A just done things that nobody can understands.
The set also did not come with spare wrist pegs that is such a standard thing to have for all previous 1/6 human figure products.

NOM 4 seems to come with a new retooled body and now there is clicking ratcheting sound when you rotate the arm. The wrists and ankles also seem very flimsy that the figure can't hold a heavier weapon without having the wrist dipping, The ankle pegs also doesn't seem to hold a position well and need the weight of the upper body to have it firmly standing flat on the surface.
However, it has quite a firm neck joint thus posing his head in a direction is easy given it has 4 hoses dangling out from his mouth. And because of the firm neck joint, the head posing isn't at the mercy of the hoses pulling it back etc.
Pouch in the front looks a little oversize and clumsy for NOM 4's movement. Not an issue for static display though and it doesn't look too funny or awkward.
NOM 4 is a must have figure for year 2012 and to have it as a 4th anniversary figure is as appropriate as it can be.
