Got this guy back in July 09 and finally come around taking some picts of it an uploading it into this Blog. Never a fan of the prequel but George Lucas managed to finally get the design right for the troopers. Not sure why but white and orange proved to be the winning color combination. And rightly so for Sideshow to release its first EPIII trooper in the form of a Utapau theater trooper. Cody was announced just a week back and this trooper can't wait for his commander's arrival.
This figure also came with a long rifle blaster that I decided to leave out for this shoot cos I still felt he looks better with a short blaster a'la Stormtrooper's standard weapon. I have to swing the metal stock backwards all the way so that the left hand can grip onto the barrel for a pose. I wonder in actual usage, will the barrel gets too hot for the hand? But hey! it is year 10010 yeah? LOL!!
And here it is, the "mandatory" senang-diri (standing at ease) pose. Nothing much to complain about only the very annoying lose joints. Makes posing a real challenge. Have also since added Shocktrooper (the red one) into my cohort. Gotta just find some time to take a set of pictures for posting.
