Medicom 1/6 Kamen Rider Shocker Kumo Otoko (蜘蛛男)

From Kamen Rider Wiki :
Spider Man abducted Hongo and brought him to Shocker where he went through the process and became the very first Kamen Rider. Chasing after Hongo and Professor Midorikawa after they escaped Shocker's lab, Spider Man bugged Ruriko Midorikawa in hopes she would lead him to her father, killing the man with Hongo taking the blame. After abducting Ruriko, Spider Man would be killed by Kamen Rider 1 with his "Rider Kick".
Revived Kaijin ArmiesEdit

He was later resurrected by Shocker as part of the Revived Kaijin Army before being destroyed by Tokageron's special bomb. Spider Man also made a brief return appearance in the monster army of the Kamen Rider vs. Shocker movie, but did not actually have an active participation there.

This version of Kumo Otoko was a mail away exclusive. You have to purchase Kamen Rider Old No.1 Ver 3.0 and use an order card within the box to only able to buy this Kaijin. And as if it wasn't already hard enough, you'd have to had a Japanese mailing address to make your order valid.
Of course we had some very innovative retailer in this little red dot that can pull off a intake of stocks to whoever wanted one - and is willing to pay a small fortune.
I didn't bought this during that time frame but got it by accident as story told in my earlier Medicom baddies post... so not wanting to sound like a broken record, I'd put that to rest.

This version of Kumo Otoko is probably as good as it can gets. The "Black Insect Hair" print on the spandex costume wasn't just a printed on thing. It is actually protruding rubbery print which adds dimension to the figure. Superb figure design overall.
My only gripe is that the cape is kinda rigid. Perhaps due to the paint of the print. The cape just cannot hang naturally on Kumo like how it does on the RAH220 version. Small issue though and not a deal breaker. Glad I got this guy as he (or it) is significant because he is the first Kaijin that appears in the Kamen Rider franchise. That makes Kumo Otoko special in this way.
