ThreeA Ashley Wood Adventure Kartel Zombkin Set

This is the first time 3A bundle a 1/6 and a 1/12 together in a single box. Zombkin came in a standard 1 figure rectangular box and there is no clamshell within. Big Kin was tied with a single twistie around the waist and little Kin was just lodged in between big bro's legs.shredded brown paper acts as cushion / protection. Not a bad packaging method since Zombkin doesn't has some protruded edges that could cause abrasion that could lead to paint chipping.
The only thing I dislike about this packaging method is that it left a lot of little paper residue on Zombkin's shirt and because the shirt is black, it makes the residue more visible. Some may argue that it can be treated as "dirt" and become part of the weathering. But I personally doesn't prefer it that way.
The package also contains a pair of spare wrist pegs for 1/6 Zombkin only.

The Zombkins are very much fun to pose them about. They just looks exactly like father and son. The sculpt of these 2 seems to suggest that they are blissfully happy when the pumpkin head should be gnarly and scary in the first place. That is why they are fun to play with.

The pumpkin head felt like it is a solid casted piece and holds some weigh. Hence the head angle plays a big part of the Zombkin can stand on it's own with a posture.
Little Zombkin's doesn't has ankle articulation and there are no feet. The ankle stumps are just inserted into the shoes and hold it in place by transient fitting. It can still swivel around and has a little room for positioning but there are no ball on socket kind of mechanism.

The Zombkin Set is arguably the Toy of the year for me until this point of time. I love them for their simplicity, and how much fun I had posing them for photo taking.

My 1/12 zombkin's head socket wasnt drilled deep enough, so his head didn't fit on until I drilled it out so it would fit, first time 3A has failed me.

Sorry to hear that my friend. You can actually try writing to CS for a replacement head. Then you will have 2 little pumpkin heads :)
